San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus is the world's first openly gay chorus, one of the world's largest male choruses and has been on the forefront of the LGBT choral movement since its beginning. Since their first performance on the steps of San Francisco City Hall in 1978, the group has achieved numerous awards and honors, including several Cable Car Awards, Circles of Hope Award, went on numerous national tours and have inspired countless people to spread the message of love, inclusivity, acceptance and strength.
The spectacle is made even better by Golden Gate Theater, a grand art deco venue owned by BroadwaySF theater company. The former vaudeville theater now houses up to 2,200 audiences and boasts upgraded acoustics, production capabilities and great seats.
