An unforgettable night of heroic anime music as My Hero Academia In Concert comes to the historic Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco, CA on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 7:00pm. Doors will open at 5:30pm for seating by time of show. The production is rated TV-14.

In honor of the 10th Anniversary of My Hero Academia the anime and the live action, experience all 8 seasons in a special presentation of Yuki Hayashi's music from the anime performed by a 15-piece live band in a concert experience touring North America and Europe, currently playing in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Jose, Eugene and Salt Lake City after a sold-out stella tour of all cities in Japan. 

From the school dances and fun moments, like "You Say Run", "Hero A" (the ending theme of the first season), the opening themes of all 8 seasons, to the heart-pounding and intense battle scenes like "Make it Big!", "Sanzou no Otosareta Basho de" and many more all performed in synchrony with the key scenes from the 8 seasons of My Hero Academia - ten years of anime that has inspired millions of fans from around the world, everywhere.

This concert is being brought to audiences globally by GEA Live and TOHO animation and is receiving the same critical acclaim and enthusiasm from fans of the series around the world. The performance is synchronized perfectly with the most iconic scenes from Deku's adventures, bringing to life an exciting and heartwarming experience between the music and the anime.

Golden Gate theatre Information

The Golden Gate Theatre is located at 1 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 (Market Street and Union Square). The Theatre was built between 1920 and 1921 by two of America's most famous architects of the time, Gustavus and Joseph R. Cullman. The interior of the Golden Gate has a unique and warm setting, that of a friendly Theatre with extraordinary acoustics.

The Golden Gate has three levels of seating, the Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony and can seat up to 2,297 patrons. It is one of the largest and most beloved Theatres in the country. Performances take place on the Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony levels of the theater and can accommodate all guests with disabilities and other special needs. All of the entrances to The Golden Gate Theater are step-free and all of the theater, lobby and restroom facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Parking Information

Limited street parking is available on a first come, first served basis, Monday through Saturday and is metered. Pre-book your parking at the Ingka Centres Garage, a 1.5 block walk to the Golden Gate Theatre. The Ingka Centres Garage is located at 440 Stevenson Street or 945 Market Street and can be booked in advance through SpotHero to receive the best available price for the dates and times desired.
