Avatar: The Last Airbender centers on Aang, the young Avatar who can control all four elements, as he journeys to end the Fire Nation's war against all other nations. Alongside his friends Katara, Sokka, and Toph, he aims to restore balance and peace to a war-torn world. The show’s significant achievements include a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Cartoon back in 2008, and a Peabody Award for adding thoughtful substance to a genre best known for its style.

For this concert series, Emmy Award-winner Jeremy Zuckerman, who composed the original music for the show, has expanded his work. Together with Jeff Adams, the series editor, they've created a production that enhances the show's scale and drama, providing a first-time chance to enjoy Aang's world in a live orchestra format.

Michael Dante DiMartino, co-creator of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra shares how special it would be to hear the series’ music come to life with an orchestra. "From epic action scenes to heartfelt emotional moments, Jeremy’s score was an integral part of Avatar’s storytelling,” he shared, further highlighting the deep connection between the score and the series' most memorable scenes. Likewise, fellow co-creator Bryan Konietzko adds that Jeremy's music is one of the most crucial ingredients as it provides the emotional backbone to the characters' arcs and captures the spirit of Aang's world.
