What to expect

The theater was last refurbished in August 2017 and opened to the public the following year with updates including custom-made LED fixtures and burgundy stage curtains. Set over three balcony, mezzanine, and floor levels, the auditorium is known for its bright colors which evoke a “sense of the outdoors.”

Vast, opulent ceiling designs and grand chandeliers impose over the box office, with a grand staircase up to each level. There are also escalators and accessible seating, the former of which replaced the central marble staircase from the original design.

Arriving at the theater

When you arrive, visit the lobby and bars up to 90 minutes before the show begins. These feature sweet and savory snacks, as well as a range of beers, wines, and cocktails.

A relaxed atmosphere is generally encouraged, though formal dress may be required for plays and other more ‘serious’ performances.

All performances start promptly, so it’s best to allow extra time for traffic and parking. Staff may be able to assist if you arrive late, and in some cases, you may be able to meet the performers post-show at the Stage Door.
